Luigi Ghrirri e Gianni Celati. Verso la foce

MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna presents the exhibition “Luigi Ghirri e Gianni Celati. Verso la foce”, winning project of the ‘Strategia Fotografia 2025’ grant. The exhibition, curated by Lorenzo Balbi and Giulia Pezzoli, documents the intellectual and creative partnership born from the collaboration between Luigi Ghirri and Gianni Celati (critic, translator, writer, and filmmaker). The center is a large body of photographs taken by Luigi Ghirri between 1989 and 1991, during the scouting and filming of Strada Provinciale delle Anime, the first feature film directed by Gianni Celati.
