The polychrome exploded cabin with mirrors was designed to be exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Villeurbanne in 2000. Outside, walls of mirrors hide its presence through the reflection of its environment.
Since the 1960s, Daniel Buren has pursued a critical artistic approach in his relationship with the museum, an institution whose impact on the very vision of the works it presents is most often hidden.
