Paolo Icaro is part of the exhibition Domestic Displacement – part of the program for Gibellina, Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2026 – at MAC Museo d’Arte Contemporanea “Ludovico Corrao”, until September 27, 2026. The exhibition, curated by Giulia Ingarao and Antonio Leone, stems from the idea that today displacement represents a structural condition of contemporary existence; it brings together fifteen artists, from different geopolitical areas, whose research traverses the trauma of uprooting, the precarity of memory and the poetics of estrangement, bringing together intimate experiences and global historical tensions.
