The project “Caro Alberto” continues its journey—an initiative dedicated to the memory of the artist, professor, and friend Alberto Garutti, who passed away on June 24, 2023. The exhibition, consisting of postcards, originated from a dialogue among numerous artists — many of whom were his former students — who gathered with friends and collaborators in the WhatsApp chat “Condominio Garutti” following his passing. This shared space gave rise to the idea of paying him tribute through brief texts, images, and drawings, all entrusted to the intimate and direct format of the postcard. The exhibition, opening on April 24 at neon in Bologna, curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio, brings together a constellation of “postcard-artworks” created by former students and colleagues from the Academies of Fine Arts of Macerata, Bologna, and Milan Brera, as well as the Politecnico di Milano and the IUAV University of Venice.
