A little bit of a lot of things

“A little bit of a lot of things” is Sheila Hicks’s first major solo exhibition in Switzerland at Kunstmuseum St Gallen, curated by the new Director Gianni Jetzer. The show covers the activity of Hicks during a time of more than fifty years, though which the artist experimented a wide range of possibilities for textile materials, moving from small weavings to bigger works, continuously manipulating dimensions, colors, and materials, while also including physical objects and accumulations of threads.
