a group of women – nude and painted the same color as the existing marble sculptures – covered with an ivory-colored veil, are arranged with the space inside the group of sculptures. the women are installed in a formation, they don’t talk and don’t move in real time but eventually break the formation to acquire postures reminescent of the surrounding sculpture. while doing so they emit low vocal sounds, like sighs, sometime perceptible sometimes very low, like heavier breathing or suffocation. “whisper corners” by Mary Jane Leach . the performance lasts three hours before a live audience. the performance is photographed and filmed before the general public enters the room.
